A few quick things...

Hello!

So, just a couple of notes, the Bishop has announced that we will not be gathering for public worship again for the foreseeable future. This, along with the stay-at-home policies enacted by Governor Cooper mean that we must find new, different ways to share with one another- to share God's love with the world and with the family of God.

In this spirit, I've started posting sermon videos on YouTube. Here's the link for that:

Please feel free to share these with your own families and friends, and I will make copies of my transcripts available here for those who might want to read back through a point, or share with someone in a different format.

I've had a few conversations this week with other pastors, friends, and church folk about tithes and offerings. God compels us to give out of the abundance which has been given to us, but right now this is extremely difficult. In lieu of better options available to us in the near future, if you'd like to contribute tithes and offerings, send by mail to either church:

Franklinville United Methodist Church
P.O. Box 212
Franklinville, NC 27248

Rehobeth United Methodist Church
850 Kildee Church Rd.
Ramseur, NC 27316

Finally, know that even though we're all doing our best to stay apart for the good of everyone, we are held together in the great love of Christ our Savior. Join me in continuing to pray for our world and each one of us as we weather this difficulty together.
